With stunning views across the North Pennines AONB, Stanhope Burn is the ideal place for those who enjoy the great outdoors. There are 77 privately owned static holiday homes on site for you to make your own.
Located close to a wooded area and river, there are plenty of beautiful places to spend your time. Both Stanhope and Bishop Auckland are close by, providing you with access to amenities as well as transport links. If you are looking for caravan parks in the North East or Durham to spend your time on, our site is perfect.
With a fantastic community, Stanhope Burn Caravan Park offers the perfect escape for all. It is situated in Stanhope, County Durham and offers the perfect place to come home to after exploring the North Pennines. The site is also pet friendly. However, we ask that dogs are kept on a lead and cleaned up after.
As well as recently installed 16 amp electrical upgrades, our Stanhope caravan site will also benefit from landscaping, Wi-Fi and lighting and security cameras. During your break away you will have everything you need, making sure you can sit back and relax.
For more details or to discover more about the community here at Stanhope Burn, please visit our dedicated Facebook page.
Here at SBCP we have no requirement on owners when it comes to upgrading. Although, there is a 15 year rule maximum in place for private to private sales. An annual review will be undertaken once a caravan is between 15 and 20 years old to make sure it is maintained and that charges are paid.
We are lucky to have recently extended our season. We are now open from March 1st to October 31st. During March we open exclusively on weekends, however from Easter we will be open all the way through.
Yes, of course! We welcome friends and family you visit your caravan. However, we do not allow commercial subletting on our caravan site.
You are free to add this feature. The design will of course depend on the pitch you choose. We recommend that you visit the park to take a look at the pitches available and decide on a design afterwards.
Travelling here by vehicle is easy to do and you will find yourself relaxing in no time. We are based a short drive off of the A68 in the North Pennines AONB.
You can also use public transport to access our location. A regular bus runs across the Wear Valley and there is a bus stop a 5 minute walk away. There is also a train station in Stanhope which you can use.
